Highway drive via Jammu and Banihal tunnel. Overnight Srinagar.
Srinagar → Kargil (200 km, 6 hrs)
Cross Zoji La pass, visit Drass War Memorial. Overnight Kargil.
Kargil → Leh (215 km, 6 hrs)
Lamayuru moonland, Magnetic Hill, Pathar Sahib Gurudwara and Indus–Zanskar sangam. Overnight Leh.
Leh acclimatisation & local
Rest morning (important at 11,500 ft), then Shanti Stupa, Leh Palace and market.
Leh monasteries
Thiksey, Hemis and Shey monasteries, Rancho School.
Leh → Nubra Valley (120 km via Khardung La)
Cross one of the world's highest motorable passes to Hunder sand dunes — double-hump camel ride. Overnight Nubra.
Nubra → Pangong Lake (150 km via Shyok)
The famous blue lake at 14,000 ft. Overnight in lakeside camps.
Pangong → Leh (160 km via Chang La)
Return over Chang La pass. Evening free in Leh.
Leh → Kargil (215 km)
Begin the return journey. Overnight Kargil.
Kargil → Srinagar → onward
Return over Zoji La. Drop in Srinagar (or continue to Amritsar on Day 11 at extra cost). Tour ends.

What is the Amritsar to Leh Ladakh taxi tour price?
From ₹68,000 for an Innova/Crysta (SUV) — per vehicle for 10 days including fuel, driver allowance and passes' road charges. Hotels/camps and inner-line permits are separate; we guide you through permits step by step.
Why SUV only and not a sedan?
High passes like Khardung La and Chang La, water crossings and rough patches in Nubra demand ground clearance and power. Sedans risk breakdowns at altitude — we don't take that risk with your family.
Do we need permits for Nubra and Pangong?
Yes, Inner Line Permits are required and easily arranged online/in Leh — we tell you exactly what to do, and your driver knows all checkpoints.
Is this trip okay for parents or kids?
Yes with the Srinagar-route plan — altitude rises gradually and Day 4 is kept light for acclimatisation. Anyone with serious heart/breathing conditions should consult a doctor first; we're honest about this.
